How does WEIGHTLIFTING transfer to SPORT?

Force and Power Output
-Any and all sport requires a level of force and power to be given. That may be derived from pushing off the ground to tackle an opponent, swinging a bat to hit a ball or taking off from the starting line in a 100m sprint.

Weightlifting or Olympic style weightlifting derives the most force and power output of any exercise. The better you get, the heavier the weight, the more force and power you have to produce to then move that weight.

Athletes performing the Olympic style lifts(snatch and clean & jerk) also develop better coordination, improved bone density, stamina, and aids them in injury prevention.

There are variations to these lifts that any beginner can easily perform and as they become more proficient they will build their skillset.
