Master’s World Championship

Wow time flies. It feels like just a couple weeks ago we were getting back from The Master’s World Championship in Finland. It has in fact has been closer to two months. Time really does fly.

Going into this meet each athlete had their own unique goals. Some wanted gold, some wanted to PR, some wanted a 6/6 meet, and some wanted it all. I wanted each athlete to walk away proud of the performances that each had at this meet.

What did I learn as a coach and continue to learn as a coach? It’s crucially important as an athlete to trust in the training that you’ve put in. You have so many hours of work stored up, now go use it. This is not the time to make changes to your equipment/ tools, this is not the time to change your setup, how you start your first pull, etc.

Dave - World Champion (99/115)

Kim - Second place finish (47/59)

Sarah - Had an incredible meet and went 5/6 (50/69)

Nicolle - (67/84)

PJ - World Champion (76/105)
